All university classes are taught in Spanish and integrated with local, full degree-seeking students. Some of the strongest departments available at the partner universities are History, Political Science, Economics, International Studies, Philosophy, Psychology, Urban Studies, and Literature.

You may also elect to participate in one of IFSA's featured core classes, such as Globalization and Economic Challenges in Latin America, Contemporary Film and Media in Latin America. Migration, Identity, and Nationalism in Argentina, or Comparative Perspectives on Human Rights in Latin America. These core courses, taught by IFSA, will offer you critical hands-on learning experiences.

Program Features

You will have the option to live in a homestay. Living in a homestay will offer you a full immersion experience to culturally and academically adjust while expanding your language skills in Buenos Aires.
