One of the main gates of Tsinghua University
Founded in 1911, Tsinghua University has outstanding offerings in science, engineering, economics, humanities, and social sciences. With a student body of 24,000, Tsinghua provides an ideal environment in which to meet Chinese university students. Located in the Beijing’s northwest district of Haidian, the spacious campus encompasses small parks, numerous lakes, and tree-lined walks. The surrounding neighborhood includes bookstores, shops, and restaurants, and there are several other major universities nearby.
Tsinghua’s modern facilities include many new buildings such as the library, student center, and administrative offices. Students in the program have access to a computer lab as well as athletic fields.
Tsinghua has cooperative programs and relationships with more than 100 universities around the world and sponsors frequent regional and international conferences.
