IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PASSPORTS: If you do not have a passport, or your passport will expire within the next year, please apply for one now. Currently it is taking up to four months to get a new or renewed passport. Even if you request that the passport be expedited, it can take several weeks.

How to Apply
Application materials except for transcripts, KCJS supplemental form, and KCJS scholarship application, if applicable, are part of the online application. Complete applications are due by the deadline. A complete application consists of the following:
- Completed online application form.
- $50 application fee. Credit card information must be provided on the application before it can be submitted.
- Statement of purpose (500 word statement about personal and academic goals and how you intend to achieve them). This may be uploaded into the online application.
- Completed online study abroad approval form.
- Completed online faculty recommendation form.
- Completed online language recommendation form.
- Completed KCJS Supplemental Form. Please submit this to the application contact below.
- Completed KCJS Scholarship Application, if applicable. Please submit this to the application contact below.
- Official transcript(s) in envelopes sealed by the issuing institutions. Please submit this to the application contact below by the stated deadline.

Submitting the Application
Once you have completed the online portions of the application, please make sure to submit your transcript, KCJS supplemental form, and if applicable, scholarship application and any home-school related materials in one envelope to:
