Notes:
South Korea, one of the “economic dragons” in Asia, is a country that embraces both a modern and traditional way of life. Seoul has many museums, galleries, theaters, and cultural venues as well as historic monuments and sites. These give students a historical perspective into Korea’s dynastic periods, which established the intellectual and cultural foundation for modern Korean society.
The program, based at CIEE Study Center at Yonsei University, is designed to explore Korean culture, inter-Korean relations, Korea-U.S. relations, and Korea’s modern role in Asia.Students take Korean language courses and multi-disciplinary courses taught in English and Korean for international and local students. Areas of study include social sciences, Korean Studies, East Asian Studie, Engineering, and other subjects. Students live in Yonsei's International house.
