The DIS program allows students the opportunity to build their own curriculum from over 120 courses taught across a great spectrum of majors, but each through a Danish, Scandinavian or European lens. Students take courses both at the DIS center and at Copenhagen University in a variety of subjects and usually in English.

The DIS program offers a good alternative for students who would like to take courses in English in a European city, but not in the UK or Ireland.

Columbia students are required to take at least one Danish language course while in Copenhagen.
