One of the main regional universities in Argentina, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (UNC) offers courses in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Fine Arts in a small-city environment near the wine growing regions. There are many outdoors opportunities in the area. Students take a required language and Argentine cultures class, then enroll in regular university courses alongside Argentine students. Students live with host families, can get involved with the local community through volunteer projects and many campus clubs and organizations.
