This program is designed for students with a strong command of the Spanish language and interest in social sciences and humanities gain an in-depth knowledge of Argentine and Spanish-speaking South American politics, economics, history, literature and society. Based at FLACSO, students take a required core course in Argentine topics at FLACSO, then enroll in regular university courses at Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), the Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA), and the Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte (IUNA).

While in BA, students live with host families or in a residencia with a Spanish-speaking roommate, can get involved with the local community through volunteer projects.
